Well Child Checks are an important aspect of care for children both young and old. Your provider will cover a range of topics including: growth and development, language development, feeding, sleep habits, vision and hearing, safety, mental health, and immunizations. Well Child Checks are a time to ensure your child is growing and developing appropriately in each of these categories as well as spend time answering any questions or concerns you may have.

The sports physical is very similar to a well child check but focuses primarily on your child’s health as it relates to physical fitness and sports participation. The team can also assist in completing any paperwork that is required for sports participation.

ADHD Consultation & Treatment
We want your child to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. While medication is not always the answer for everyone, the team at Tiftarea Pediatrics will work with you and your child to come up with a solution to make your child most successful at school and at home. This may include a variety of options including medication, behavioral therapy, or psychological testing in order to determine the most appropriate combination of treatments for your child. We understand that there may be certain situations when your child requires specialized care for certain medical conditions. Our team is here to help navigate and assist you through the referral system. Our office is able to initiate referrals if required by your insurance as well as assist with precertification for procedures or prior authorizations for certain medications.
